Global Market Intelligence Survey 2008
The Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) has renewed a Global Market Intelligence Study and extended the sample significantly; the first study was conducted in 2005 and it is now truly the most comprehensive, global Market & Competitive Intelligence study based on primary research.
For this study on market & competitive intelligence world-wide, 439 companies were interviewed in order to identify the present status, organization, IT tools and future outlook of Market Intelligence activities.

Competitive Intelligence in Large Companies - Global Study
Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) members decided to engage in collaborative research in the field of Competitive Intelligence (CI*). The objective of this project was to produce mutually comparable information regarding CI in each of the respective domestic markets.
This goal was ‘operationalized’ via the use of a common research framework to deliver both country-specific reports and a comparative multi-country report. The study concludes the following:
