How to collect intelligence with proper processes and IT resources is of major importance as it directly translates to following systems and efficiency of the entire intelligence process.
Prior to document and information storage, intelligence professionals throughout the organization need to be granted access to all crucial systems carrying the identified intelligence. Major element of supporting the intelligence gathering process would be access management.
Most likely mobility and security concerns would require special attention. A single point of reference and leadership might help to turn to when it comes to delegating and granting resource access.
CRM systems, ERP legacy environments, collaboration tools and other software might hold the majority of the internal intelligence that would be used as base points and comparison references to any external intelligence and data.
