Job Description
The Vice President of Marketing provides marketing leadership and strategic vision.

This person is accountable for supporting aggressive revenue growth targets across EMEA while driving awareness of Concur’s market leading suite of on-demand services. The VP of Marketing leads a team that focuses on executing the appropriate mix of marketing tactics including online and print advertising, public relations, the corporate website, events, online and traditional direct marketing, telephone marketing, and channel marketing to develop a sales funnel for our direct and indirect sales channels that includes companies ranging from 100 to 100,000+ employees. The team will own aggressive pipeline generation goals as well as building EMEA recognition of the company name, services, and vision.

In addition, the VP of Marketing oversees the development and deployment of offer strategy, pricing, messaging and positioning to support global field sales in turning cultivated awareness into satisfied clients. The marketing organization introduces new products to the market to drive increased revenue and a strong operating margin. The team also develops programs to generate client loyalty at the executive sponsor, system administrator, and user levels through a variety of communication channels.

The VP of Marketing oversees research and provides recommended plans for expansion into new market (geographic, size, vertical) segments.

As a member of the EMEA leadership team, the VP of Marketing contributes to the strategic direction and vision of the region, participates in key high-level business decisions and plays a role in setting overall regional objectives. This role reports to the GM of EMEA.

Responsibilities:
•Organize and direct the long-term and short-term strategic marketing efforts to meet both market share and sales goals.
•Develop a corporate dashboard that measures and communicates core accountabilities and progress.
•Assess new markets and analyze business opportunities.
•Understand changes to the marketplace and industry and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
•Develop and nurture a world-class marketing leadership team that will scale and thrive as the business grows.
•Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

Skills
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training required:
•Minimum of ten years in a sales/marketing management position with experience in business to business marketing of high technology products or services.
•Experience in delivering solutions in a services model is desired.
•BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent experience.
•MBA is strongly preferred.
•Ability to pass a background check.
